How does a game controller turn into a mouse? Press the steps, or wait and the console runs them by itself.×3

The big idea: the Nintendo Switch 2's controllers hold on by magnets and let go when you press a release button on the back. Lay one on its side and it becomes a mouse: an optical sensor on its inner rail reads the desk sliding under it, so a cursor follows on the 7.9-inch screen. Drop the console into its dock and the picture goes to the TV (all Nintendo's; the board, the fan and the battery inside are drawn as a typical layout).
